Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eta Knox (ranked 1623 p4p, 110 weight class) and Brandon Kay (ranked 1949 p4p, 124 weight class). Knox comes to the cage accompanied by David Dallas | Runnin'. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Brandon Kay enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eta Knox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brandon Kay!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox with a hook.
Kay takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Knox has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Five Round Fight Club NY (50 max) in the buildup to the fight.
Knox scores with a jab to the head.
Knox fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kay looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Knox sizes up Kay with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Kay takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kay on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kay has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Knox moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Knox has Kay up against the cage in a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Knox.
Knox working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Knox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Knox scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kay doesn't seem bothered though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A decent looking cross lands there for Knox.
Knox lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Knox lands a body shot.
Kay takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Knox lands a jab to Kay's midsection.
Eta Knox is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Knox stalks Kay and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kay's face. Kay staggers backwards, shaken.

Kay shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Knox lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kay looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Knox fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kay looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Knox connects with a body shot that sends Kay's belly button to the back.
Knox lands with an overhand left.

Kay on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kay fails with the takedown.
Knox cracks Kay with a good jab.

Kay drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knox is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Kay with a nice head shot there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Knox lands a really nice looking cross but Kay seems unphased.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kay has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Knox comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Kay on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Eta Knox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knox lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Knox bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Knox throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kay.
And Kay tries to counter it with a takedown but Knox pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Eta Knox is winning the standup battle so far.
Knox lands a nice shot to the body.

Kay drops his hands momentarily and Knox takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Knox cracks Kay with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Knox stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Knox scores with a hook.
Knox moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Knox feints a jab promting Kay to slip. Knox then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kay slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Knox clobbers Kay with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

A jab from Knox does it's job there.
Knox scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Knox throws a series of strikes that have Kay backpedaling.
Kay with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Knox to score with a decent uppercut.
Knox punishes Kay's body with a nice straight punch.
Kay takes one on the button.
Knox is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kay can do to turn this around?
Knox ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Knox fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Knox, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kay takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Knox uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Knox stuns Kay with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kay fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Knox avoids it really well and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eta Knox dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Kay takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Knox scores with a one two! Kay had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Kay moves forwards but Knox connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kay takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Knox connects with a right hand. Kay shakes it off.
Knox lands with an overhand left.

Knox takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Knox thuds a left hand into Kay's body.
Knox uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kay has time to react.

Kay takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Knox ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Kay changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knox tries to avoid it but Kay manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knox to the ground. Knox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Knox darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kay fails with a takedown attempt.

Kay doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Brandon Kay has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Eta Knox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Kay.
Knox smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Knox cracks a nice hook into Kay's ribs.
Knox lands a nice looking body shot.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knox, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
