Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fred Floyd (ranked 1495 p4p, 200 weight class) and Kabala Magaluff (ranked 841 p4p, 116 weight class). Magaluff is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Shalom. Kabala Magaluff has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Floyd counters with a stiff right hand.

Floyd cracks Magaluff with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Magaluff looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Floyd finish him?

It looks like Kabala Magaluff has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Magaluff gets the takedown into side control.
Floyd wants to control but Magaluff postures up.
Floyd tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Magaluff wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Floyd stays in close to Magaluff's body and controls the position.
