Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between André 3000 (ranked 1069 p4p, 109 weight class) and Great Tiger (ranked 542 p4p, 61 weight class). 3000 comes to the cage accompanied by Nobody by Skindred. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger throws the left hand but 3000 avoids the punch easily.
Nice uppercut there from Tiger.
An inside leg kick lands from 3000.

Tiger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. 3000 was covering up waiting for the punch and Tiger finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Tiger controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

3000 looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tiger postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! 3000 is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tiger, into his guard.

Tiger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. 3000 doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. 3000 manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

You can see the frustration on 3000's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
