Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burz clinches up with Schroeder and pushes him back against the cage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Schroeder connects with a nice short shot to Burz's temple.
Schroeder has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Burz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Schroeder with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Colton Schroeder will probably get the nod.

Burz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Schroeder uses from the top position.
