The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Defense manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Defense takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Defense throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Andrews counters with a low kick, right behind Defense 's knee.
Andrews doesn't manage to clinch there - Defense circles away.
Defense lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Brett Andrews has been cut.
Defense throws a nice inside leg kick.

Defense drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Andrews is rocked!
Defense postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Andrews covers up, he's hurt! Defense keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Defense and the ref steps in to end the fight! Defense can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
