Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bartlomiej Burch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Moleman!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moleman misses with a right hand
and Burch cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Moleman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moleman scores with a jab. Burch acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Left hook, right uppercut from Burch.
Burch looking to land some kicks to the body here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moleman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Burch's waist but Burch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moleman off to one side.
Burch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moleman circles away quickly and effectively.

and Burch counters with a nice body shot.

Moleman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

We've been told by Burch's head coaches at Westside Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Moleman misses with a double jab
and Burch makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Moleman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burch.
Burch feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Moleman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Burch appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Burch tries to bum rush Moleman with a series of wild strikes but Moleman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Burch shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Burch showed some decent athleticism there.
Moleman is trying to control but Burch manages to pass to mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Burch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burch seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Moleman throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Burch escapes and throws Moleman's legs to the side, diving into side control!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Moleman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Burch decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moleman's guard.
Burch stays in close to Moleman's body and controls the position.

Burch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moleman was covering up waiting for the punch and Burch finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Moleman isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Burch stacks Moleman on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Burch!

Burch really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Burch seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Moleman for as long as he can get away with.

Burch is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Moleman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Moleman shrugs it off.

Well Burch has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
