The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scout throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Markell.
Markell ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Markell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Markell.
Good exchange - Scout coming out on top.
Scout works over Markell's head and body with a nice combination.
Scout throws a right hand that Markell ducks under and follows up with a left that Markell also avoids with ease.
Markell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Markell bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Scout is working to avoid the ground and pound but Markell connects with a decent elbow.
Scout is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Markell has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee warns Scout that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Markell working for a submission but Scout is keeping him at bay.
Markell lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Scout in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Markell breaks from Scout's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Scout is rocked!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Markell! Scout is hurt baaadly! Markell is firing away with more strikes - Scout is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
