The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulkkinen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Schubert.
Schubert throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Schubert bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Schubert throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pulkkinen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pulkkinen throws a shot from downtown. Schubert moves away and avoids it.
Schubert steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pulkkinen. That one must have hurt.
Schubert is breathing heavily.
Pulkkinen lands a big uppercut and Schubert crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Schubert looks OK. Pulkkinen waves Schubert back to his feet!
It looks like Thomas Schubert has been cut.
Schubert seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Schubert drops his hands momentarily. Pulkkinen doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Schubert staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Schubert doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sepi Pulkkinen!
A relieved looking Sepi Pulkkinen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
