PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Black Alligator (ranked 1225 p4p, 62 weight class) and Twea King (ranked 834 p4p, 38 weight class). Alligator comes to the cage accompanied by Golden Features - Always. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King lands a jab to the nose.
Alligator definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
King lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
King cracks Alligator with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
King bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Twea King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alligator displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as King throws out the jab.

Alligator tried to counter with a leg kick but King avoided it.
King cracks Alligator with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Alligator's hands are dropping dangerously low here and King connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Alligator scrambles back to his feet.

King fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Alligator on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Alligator sprawls well. Alligator wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet.

King is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Alligator doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time King.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alligator has his hands clasped together around King's back. He's all about the action.
King throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

King seems to be looking for submissions.

Alligator is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst King is controlling him.

Well King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
