Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Flying Goblin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jas Drop!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goblin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Drop.
Drop misses with a combination

and Goblin counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Drop!
Drop tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Goblin is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Goblin wants to control but Drop is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goblin is landing with strikes from the back.
Goblin scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goblin gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Goblin struggling to keep hold of the position.
Goblin keeps control of the position as Drop tries to break free.
Drop is keeping busy.
Goblin lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Drop.
Goblin softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Goblin trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Goblin scores with punches and elbows.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee is taking a good look at Drop as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Goblin!
Goblin is landing with strikes. Drop can't take much more of this.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goblin keeps control of the position as Drop tries to break free.
Goblin looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Goblin.
Goblin tries to get the hooks in deep but Drop pushed the leg off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drop is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Drop should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Drop staying busy and making it hard for Goblin to control.

Goblin lands strikes to the head.


Drop is rocked!
Goblin is scoring with a succession of shots from the back. Drop is covering up - he's had enough and the ref steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Flying Goblin!
A relieved looking Flying Goblin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
