The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dogmock ducks straight into an uppercut from Dekkers and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Dogmock manages to regain guard straight away.
Dekkers slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Dekkers passes into half guard.
Dekkers seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Dekkers is pressing down on Dogmock's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dogmock is holding on for now.

Dekkers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dekkers throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Dekkers scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Dekkers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dogmock doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Dogmock moves in looking to clinch but Dekkers pushes him off.
Dekkers swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Decent striking displayed by Dekkers there.
Dogmock doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Dekkers throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Dekkers has cracked Dogmock with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Dekkers lands another huge swinging hook and Dogmock tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Dogmock, before Dekkers can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bas Dekkers!
During a confident post fight interview, Bas Dekkers thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
