Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Olsen (ranked 1949 p4p, 251 weight class) and Shen Kuei (ranked 1507 p4p, 205 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen shoots in for a double leg but Kuei sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Olsen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Olsen showed some decent athleticism there.

Olsen is working for a submission of some sort.

Olsen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kuei sees it coming and defends easily.
Kuei pushes Olsen off looking to stand but Olsen dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Olsen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kuei has managed to free his arm - good work.
Kuei really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Olsen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Olsen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Olsen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kuei is just riding it out for now. Olsen eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Olsen connects with a nice short shot to Kuei's temple.

Kuei looks like he's trying to stand up.

Kuei kicks Olsen off and gets back to his feet.
Nice defenses there by Olsen.
Shen Kuei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Kuei. No joy for Olsen on that attempt.
Olsen shoots in looking for a takedown. Kuei tries to sprawl out of it but Olsen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kuei manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kuei is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robin Olsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kuei looks for the body kick but Olsen saw that one coming.
Kuei is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Olsen.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Olsen takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Robin Olsen has been cut.
The fighters circle, before Kuei throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Olsen's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Kuei lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Shen Kuei!
Shen Kuei spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
