Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Silver (ranked 22673 p4p, 287 weight class) and Aleksander Kazimierz (ranked 3837 p4p, 202 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Silver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Aleksander Kazimierz!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kazimierz is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Silver's half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kazimierz working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Kazimierz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Silver has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kazimierz wants to control but Silver is keeping him busy.

Kazimierz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Silver is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Silver is not content to let Kazimierz control the position.
You can see the frustration on Silver's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Silver is staying active underneath Kazimierz, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kazimierz is defended easily by Silver.

Kazimierz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silver sees it coming and defends easily.

Kazimierz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silver sprawls well initially but Kazimierz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Silver moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kazimierz not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kazimierz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Silver's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Aleksander Kazimierz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kazimierz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Silver's head.

Silver seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Kazimierz is continuing to stall.
Aleksander Kazimierz is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kazimierz lands a nice short elbow.
Silver is looking to improve his position.

Kazimierz is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
