The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steve has closed the distance and engaged Udanda in a clinch.
Steve lands with a left to the head.
Steve softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Steve scores with a nice hook to the head.
Steve works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Steve lands a body punch.
Udanda is trying to force a seperation but Steve has the dominant position.
Steve prevents Udanda from breaking the clinch.
Udanda has had enough of the clinch but Steve keeps him there for the moment.
Udanda wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Steve has him pressed against the ropes.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Steve creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Steve lands a hook to the side of the head.
Steve lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Udanda is breathing heavily.
Steve lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Udanda backwards.

Steve breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Udanda with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Udanda looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Udanda get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? Yes, he's struggled back up to his feet and seems OK to continue. The referee agrees so we're back to the action!

Udanda tries to bum rush Steve with a series of wild strikes but Steve uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Steve forces Udanda back against the ropes and clinches.

Steve lands a right hand.
