Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shane Mitchell (ranked 3089 p4p, 270 weight class) and Mike Jones (ranked 2848 p4p, 261 weight class). Mitchell comes to the cage accompanied by Michael Jackson - Beat it. Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by venom. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jones comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mitchell gets the underhooks and prevents it.
