Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tarzir Tschibuti (ranked 2860 p4p, 267 weight class) and Emilio Fernandez (ranked 4001 p4p, 335 weight class). Tschibuti comes to the cage accompanied by Metallica - Enter Sandman . Emilio Fernandez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fernandez moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Tarzir Tschibuti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fernandez shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tschibuti manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fernandez is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Tschibuti is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tschibuti wants to stand and escape but Fernandez is having none of it.

Tschibuti controls Fernandez momentarily but Fernandez frees himself.
Tschibuti seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fernandez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Fernandez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tschibuti, up you get!

Fernandez shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tschibuti's guard.

Tschibuti scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Tschibuti takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Fernandez counters with a crisp one two that drops Tschibuti! Fernandez thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Tschibuti to his feet! Tschibuti is in big trouble!

and Fernandez counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Tschibuti to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Fernandez!
