Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dylan Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Alvarez.
Taylor moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Alvarez swings widly with a right hand
and Taylor counters with a slapping leg kick.
Alvarez throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Taylor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Alvarez moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromTaylor.
Taylor scores with a one two! Alvarez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Taylor gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Alvarez.
Taylor has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Taylor there as he acknowledges the shot.
Alvarez throws a lazy right hand but Taylor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Alvarez misses with a straight left.
Alvarez throws a hook but Taylor blocks it.
Taylor closes the distance and pushes Alvarez back into the ropes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Taylor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Taylor has closed the distance and engaged Alvarez in a clinch.
Alvarez breaks from the clinch.
Taylor clinches with his opponent.
Taylor tries to throw a body punch but Alvarez avoids it by throwing Taylor back against the ropes.
Alvarez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Alvarez throws a combination that misses
and Taylor counters with a series of strikes. Alvarez will be more careful next time no doubt.
Taylor closes the distance and clinches.

Alvarez breaks the clinch.
Alvarez looks to land a left hand but Taylor moved out of range nicely.
Hector Alvarez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Taylor moves out of range of the strikes.
Alvarez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alvarez looks to throw the jab but Taylor is out of range.

Taylor looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Taylor fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Alvarez is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Taylor forces Alvarez back against the ropes and clinches.

and Taylor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Taylor ducks under a wild hook from Alvarez.
Alvarez catches Taylor napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Taylor crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Alvarez raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!
