Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roger Dicks (ranked 3578 p4p, 383 weight class) and Micah Hawk (ranked 4069 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hawk shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Hawk is looking for a kimura here.

Hawk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hawk passes the guard and advances to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hawk wants to take Dicks's back but he can't do it this time.
Dicks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dicks has left one of his arms exposed and Hawk doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Dicks screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
