PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster McDiggle (ranked 2983 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nuke Laloosh (ranked 3499 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Buster McDiggle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nuke Laloosh!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McDiggle closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Laloosh quickly recovers to half guard.

McDiggle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Laloosh doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McDiggle.
McDiggle works his way into full mount!
McDiggle has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
McDiggle wants to take Laloosh's back but he can't do it this time.
Laloosh sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
McDiggle is trying to control. Laloosh wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Laloosh is desperately trying to improve his position but McDiggle has a good base and remains in mount.

McDiggle cracks Laloosh with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
McDiggle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
McDiggle pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Laloosh is rocked!
Laloosh is squirming around, avoiding McDiggle's attempts to control the action.

McDiggle with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Laloosh tries to hold on but McDiggle postures up.

McDiggle is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Laloosh is trying to escape and McDiggle transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Laloosh is forced to tap! Nice work there by McDiggle! Very nice indeed!
