Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shik Jang (ranked 4675 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klatten Asser (ranked 4414 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Shik Jang has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shik Jang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Klatten Asser!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Asser tries to avoid it but Jang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Asser to the ground. Asser escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jang tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Asser swivels and escapes.
Jang shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shik Jang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Asser keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jang shoots for a double leg takedown but Asser sprawls well. He's pushed Jang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Asser lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Jang fails to land the takedown.
Asser throws a counter combo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A solid leg kick lands there for Asser.
Asser shoots in but Jang avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jang fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Asser avoids it really well and circles away.

Asser should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Asser shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jang but Jang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Asser defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jang.
Asser unleashes a big counter combination but Jang bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jang looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horrible takedown attempt by Asser or perhaps it was just good defense by Jang, which made it look bad.

Klatten Asser comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Asser has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
