The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SigmaBear looks to score with a jab to the body but Adams is just out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from SigmaBear. Adams does a little dance to reset his feet.

SigmaBear misses with a straight left.
Adams could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That kick from Adams tenderised SigmaBear's leg. SigmaBear is trying to keep his angry face on.
SigmaBear tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Adams counters with a two punch combo.
SigmaBear sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
SigmaBear moves in looking to clinch but Adams pushes him off.
Adams throws a big counter combination but SigmaBear scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
SigmaBear fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Adams manages to avoid it.
SigmaBear looks to land a right hand but Adams moved out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Adams.
SigmaBear misses with a looping left.

SigmaBear closes the distance and pushes Adams back into the cage.

SigmaBear lands a hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Beau Adams has been cut.
SigmaBear is pushing Adams up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

SigmaBear's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Adams tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

SigmaBear misses with a left hand
and Adams counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

SigmaBear takes the fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Adams tries a head kick but it misses.
SigmaBear tries to close the distance and clinch but Adams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

SigmaBear pushes Adams up against the cage in a clinch.
We've been informed that SigmaBear has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
SigmaBear goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

A quick uppercut on the inside from SigmaBear.
Adams tries to pull guard but SigmaBear holds him up against the cage and eventually Adams drops back down to his feet.
Adams swings wildly with an uppercut but SigmaBear uses good head movement to avoid it.

SigmaBear lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Adams's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
SigmaBear creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Adams with a big uppercut! Adams tries to clinch up but SigmaBear pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Adams to the mat! Adams covers up and SigmaBear unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
