Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Lennon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chris Deal!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deal throws a hook but Lennon avoids it easily.
Deal rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lennon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Deal misses with a head kick.
Lennon throwing a counter right hand but Deal manages to avoid it.
Deal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Deal clobbers Lennon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lennon waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Deal.
Deal uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lennon.
Deal lands a head kick. Lennon smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A slow jab from Deal misses its intended target.
Deal throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Lennon counters with a nice uppercut.


It looks like Chris Deal has been cut.
Lennon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lennon moves out of range as Deal throws a body kick.
Chris Deal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lennon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Deal needs to keep his hands up - Lennon had a free shot at his head there.
Deal connects with a high kick.
Lennon throws a lazy right hand but Deal sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Deal doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
A head kick misses from Deal.
Deal connects with a looping right hand.
Deal scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Lennon misses with a looping right.
Deal looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Deal takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lennon jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.


Deal is rocked!
Deal lands a jab-cross combination.
Lennon throws a big shot that misses.
Deal scores with a nice body kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lennon.
Deal throws the left hand but Lennon avoids the punch easily.
Deal throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Deal feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lennons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Deal cracks Lennon with an open hand slap.
Deal throws a sloppy head kick and Lennon moves out of range easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Deal lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Deal throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Lennon to counter with a crisp jab.


That has opened up Chris Deal's cut even more.
Lennon takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lennon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Deal with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Deal connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lennon. Lennon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.


Lennon is rocked!
Deal weaves into range and cracks Lennon right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Lennon goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Deal is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Deal!
A very excited looking Chris Deal rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
