PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Carlotos Spiteri (ranked 4494 p4p, 488 weight class) and Julius Caesar (ranked 2741 p4p, 331 weight class). Spiteri comes to the ring accompanied by Day to day basis. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlotos Spiteri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julius Caesar!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caesar throws a head kick that misses
and Spiteri counters with a straight right hand.
Caesar moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Caesar throws a right hand that misses
and Spiteri counters with a right hand to the body.
Spiteri chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Caesar throws out a head kick that Spiteri doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Spiteri crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Spiteri's eyes and has decided to let it go on!


It looks like Carlotos Spiteri has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Caesar throws a lazy body kick
and Spiteri counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Caesar bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A head kick misses from Caesar.
Spiteri is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Caesar misses with a head kick.
Spiteri is looking to counter punch.
Caesar misses with a jab to the body
and Spiteri counters with a one-two to the body.
A head kick by Caesar misses
letting Spiteri counter with a right hand.
Caesar throws a leg kick which misses Spiteri's front leg but catches the back leg as Spiteri tries to avoid it.
Caesar throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Caesar on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Spiteri avoids the body shot from Caesar.
Spiteri seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Caesar feints and then cracks Spiteri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Spiteri down.
Caesar moves out of range of the body kick from Spiteri.
Spiteri tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Caesar was well out of range. Poor timing from Spiteri.
Caesar throws a right hand that Spiteri ducks under and follows up with a left that Spiteri also avoids with ease.
Spiteri swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Spiteri on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Spiteri connects with a good right hand that stumbles Caesar. Caesar circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Caesar tries to clinch up but Spiteri circles away and keeps his distance.
And Spiteri counters with a quick kick to the body but Caesar blocks it.

Spiteri has managed to clinch.
Spiteri lands on the inside with an uppercut.


Caesar is rocked!

Spiteri breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Caesar is still on wobbly legs! Can Spiteri finish him?

Spiteri rushes Caesar and presses him up against the ropes.
Knees to the body from Spiteri.
Spiteri breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Caesar with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Caesar looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Caesar get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Carlotos Spiteri!
A relieved looking Carlotos Spiteri thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Julius Caesar had this to say: 'Good fight .. im to old for this crap '.
