The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudgon shoots in for a takedown but Cobra shows good takedown defense.
Sudgon shoots in looking for a takedown. Cobra tries to sprawl out of it but Sudgon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cobra manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sudgon closes the distance and clinches up with Cobra, looking for a takedown. Sudgon pushes Cobra against the cage but Cobra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cobra is trying to trip Sudgon. He has hold of a leg but Sudgon is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cobra persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sudgon is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Cobra to keep the fight standing.

Cobra scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Sudgon shoots in looking for a takedown but Cobra manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sudgon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cobra is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Sudgon frees his head nicely. Oh but Cobra has switched to an armbar! Sudgon is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
