Mochinori's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Japanese Battle Music. The key to victory for Uesugi Mochinori has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez tries a head kick but it misses.

Alvarez clinches with his opponent.
Mochinori lands a body punch.
Mochinori lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Alvarez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mochinori fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mochinori moves out of range of the leg kick from Alvarez.

Mochinori fakes the leg kick and cracks Alvarez in the body.
Alvarez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mochinori defends it nicely.
Uesugi Mochinori has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Whorely Alvarez.

Mochinori feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alvarez sprawling to the canvas! Alvarez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mochinori finish him?!

Alvarez is rocked!
and Mochinori counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Alvarez! He's just covering up as Mochinori starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uesugi Mochinori!
