Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kendo Hirigushi (ranked 155 p4p, 17 weight class) and Petdee Sitsongrit (ranked 162 p4p, 20 weight class). Kendo Hirigushi could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Petdee Sitsongrit's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Petdee Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirigushi ducks under a wild hook from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit throws a jab but it's blocked by Hirigushi.
Sitsongrit walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hirigushi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
As Sitsongrit looks to move away, Hirigushi throws a big counter combo but Sitsongrit just gets out of the way.
Hirigushi takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hirigushi throws a lazy uppercut
and Sitsongrit counters with a nice leg kick.
Hirigushi with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hirigushi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sitsongrit lands a body shot.
Hirigushi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sitsongrit misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Sitsongrit takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Sitsongrit dodges the punch combination from Hirigushi.

Hirigushi keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sitsongrit throws a body punch but Hirigushi moves out of range.
Hirigushi throws a big counter combination but Sitsongrit scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Hirigushi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit tries a quick counter leg kick but Hirigushi is wise to it.
Sitsongrit lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Sitsongrit scores with a shot to the body.
Hirigushi takes a jab right on the kisser.

Hirigushi is rocked!

Sitsongrit punishes Hirigushi's body with a nice straight punch.
Oh Hirigushi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sitsongrit throws a leg kick but Hirigushi sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Hirigushi seems to have got his legs back now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hirigushi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sitsongrit.

Sitsongrit lands a big uppercut and Hirigushi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hirigushi looks OK. Sitsongrit waves Hirigushi back to his feet!
Sitsongrit throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hirigushi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hirigushi throws a right hand that misses
and Sitsongrit counters with a leg kick.
Good leg kick by Sitsongrit there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Sitsongrit looks to clinch
and Hirigushi counters with a stiff right hand.
Sitsongrit throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hirigushi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hirigushi lands with an overhand left.
Sitsongrit lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sitsongrit slips under a jab.
Sitsongrit throws an off balance right hand
and Hirigushi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Sitsongrit smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sitsongrit drops Hirigushi with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hirigushi! Sitsongrit dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
