Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Allen (ranked 226 p4p, 33 weight class) and Tank Ispa (ranked 199 p4p, 30 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, George Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Tank Ispa!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen throws a right hand that misses
and Ispa counters with a nice body shot.

Tank Ispa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Allen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ispa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Allen manages to avoid it.

Allen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ispa to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Ispa tries for a kimura but Allen is defending well.
Ispa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Allen keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ispa tries for a kimura but Allen is defending well.

Allen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ispa on the ground.

Ispa perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Ispa is looking to take a break and control but Allen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ispa dives in for a single leg takedown but Allen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
A punch lands to the side of Allen 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ispa swings for the body but Allen moves out of range.
Allen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ispa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Allen circles away from the clinch attempt.
Allen's corner calls for a 1-2. Allen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ispa throws a hook but Allen avoids it easily.

George Allen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Oh Allen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ispa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Allen has time to react.

Allen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ispa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ispa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Allen to score with a decent uppercut.

Tank Ispa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Ispa shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Allen manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

George Allen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ispa passes to full mount!
Allen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Ispa jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Allen manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Ispa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Allen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Allen is not content to let Ispa control the position.
Allen struggling a bit here.

I would just about give that final round to Tank Ispa.
Well Ispa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
