Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Navas (ranked 1893 p4p, 248 weight class) and Sivile Gonya (ranked 1500 p4p, 206 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonya gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Navas.
Gonya scores with a head kick. Navas tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Navas takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Gonya connects with a right hand. Navas shakes it off.
Navas takes a jab right on the kisser.

Navas is rocked!
Navas fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Navas looks to land a body kick but Gonya moved away.

Navas looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Navas tests Gonya's chin there with a solid looking shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gonya thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Gonya has hold of Navas's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Navas seems comfortable defending it but Gonya has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Navas is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Navas is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gonya couldn't care less - he's delighted!
