Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Bun Chantha (ranked 7104 p4p, 590 weight class) and Blake Wightman (ranked 14488 p4p, 599 weight class). Chantha comes to the ring accompanied by WORDS BOXIN. Wightman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by BFMV-You want a battle(here's a war). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Chantha counters with a series of strikes. Wightman will be more careful next time no doubt.
Chantha works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wightman lands with a hook. Chantha tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Chantha has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Chantha shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Blake Wightman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chantha tries to close the distance and clinch but Wightman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That kick from Wightman tenderised Chantha's leg. Chantha is trying to keep his angry face on.

Blake Wightman seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Chantha avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wightman slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Bun Chantha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chantha stalks Wightman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wightman's face. Wightman staggers backwards, shaken.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wightman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chantha's head backwards.
Chantha throws a lazy right hand but Wightman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sloppy strikes from Wightman. Those never looked like landing.

Wightman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Chantha is rocked!
Wightman cracks Chantha with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

After winning the bout, Blake Wightman thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
