Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruce White Jr (ranked 1436 p4p, 161 weight class) and Char Xiu (ranked 1483 p4p, 170 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Char Xiu!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White Jr dives in and scores a takedown into Xiu's guard.
White Jr thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Xiu is adopting a defensive guard.

White Jr looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Xiu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Xiu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by White Jr.
White Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Xiu finds it's way round the side to connect with White Jr's head.

Xiu feints and then cracks White Jr's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow White Jr down.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Xiu dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on White Jr. That did some damage!

White Jr has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Xiu is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
White Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as White Jr checks a leg kick.
Xiu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Xiu looks to score with a jab to the body but White Jr is just out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Xiu. White Jr does a little dance to reset his feet.
Xiu connects with a body shot that sends White Jr's belly button to the back.

and Xiu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White Jr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Xiu is just riding it out for now. White Jr eventually gives up the hold.

I would just about give that final round to Char Xiu.
