The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray slips under a jab.
Rios feints a jab promting Murray to slip. Rios then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Murray slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Murray blocks a jab.
Murray swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Murray throws a lazy right hand but Rios sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Murray just misses with a punch to the body.
Rios takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Rios throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A jab lands there for Rios.
Rios thows a left - swing and a miss!
Murray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rios ducks under a wild hook from Murray .
A head kick misses from Murray .
Adam Rios seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good standup being displayed there by Rios as he connects with a hook.

Rios stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Murray .

Murray displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rios throws out the jab.

Rios with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Murray to score with a decent uppercut.

Murray fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Rios to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Rios looks to clinch but Murray throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Rios taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Chad Murray decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
