Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between She Mine (ranked 24102 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Sue (ranked 24058 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, She Mine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tom Sue!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Sue keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Mine closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mine lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mine sitting in guard, not really doing much.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mine stands up and waves to Sue to follow him.

Sue takes the fight into the clinch.
Mine tries a body shot but Sue blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Sue breaks the clinch.
Sue doesn't manage to clinch there - Mine circles away.
Mine appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mine struggles to land a body shot inside as Sue controls his hands.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sue goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sue lands a body punch.
Sue tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Mine avoids it.
Mine lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Sue backwards.
Sue misses with a body punch.
Sue tries to work over Mine's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Sue prevents a body shot from Mine.
Mine misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Mine tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sue smiles and moves away.
Mine fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mine looks for a takedown but Sue sprawls well.
Sue now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tom Sue will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mine throws a punch but it's blocked by Sue.

Sue drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mine gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mine misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Sue lands a body shot in the clinch.
Mine can't find room to land a body shot as Sue controls the action.
Sue is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mine is defending well for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mine drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sue escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mine is defended easily by Sue.
Sue tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Sue has managed to clinch.
Sue misses with a shot to the kidneys.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Sue tries to work over Mine's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sue misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mine goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sue struggles to land a body shot inside as Mine controls his hands.
Mine tries to throw a body punch but Sue avoids it by throwing Mine back against the cage.

Mine just leaning against Sue, taking a breather.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tom Sue showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Sue tries to clinch up but Mine circles away and keeps his distance.

Mine gets tackled into the cage by Sue. Sue maintains the clinch.
Sue working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Sue blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sue tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Mine prevents a body shot from Sue.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Mine lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Sue.
Sue goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Mine drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sue pulls his leg out and moves away.
Mine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sue but Sue pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mine circles away from the clinch attempt

and Mine counters with a shoot takedown. Sue fights it but they end up in guard.
Mine trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sue's guard.
Sue wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mine manages to pass to side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sue is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Well, if Mine is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mine tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sue controls his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mine looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Mine gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
She Mine has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tom Sue is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Mine misses with a hook
and Sue counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

I would just about give that final round to Tom Sue.
