Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ueda Umanouke (ranked 1307 p4p, 148 weight class) and Vandall Savage (ranked 969 p4p, 114 weight class). Umanouke comes into the arena with Kenji Kawai's Making of a Cyborg blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Umanouke missing with a left hand there. Savage was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Umanouke has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The fighters circle momentarily. Umanouke darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Savage stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ueda Umanouke's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Umanouke throws a hook but Savage blocks it.
Savage throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Umanouke stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Savage drops Umanouke with a big left hand and mounts him. Umanouke is in big trouble!

Savage tries to control but Umanouke wriggling away.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ueda Umanouke's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Vandall Savage!
Vandall Savage took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
In defeat, Ueda Umanouke stepped up to the mic, saying 'Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You can't do anything without risking something. I will be back to avenge my honor.'.
