Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Humbert Humbert (ranked 128 p4p, 19 weight class) and Polliisi Partio (ranked 145 p4p, 24 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Partio turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Humbert scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Partio moves into the clinch.
Humbert tries to circle away but Partio has him pinned against the cage.
Partio tries a body shot but Humbert blocks it.
Humbert blocks an uppercut.

Humbert breaks the clinch.
Donk. Partio catches Humbert right on the button with a cross.
Humbert takes one to the chin there.
Humbert waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Partio.
Humbert misses with a jab, cross combination.
Partio feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Humberts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Partio scores with a nice strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Humbert throws a hook to the side of Partio's head but Partio sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Partio comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Partio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Partio connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Humbert stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Partio.
Partio has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Humbert connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Partio momentarily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Humbert. Partio does a little dance to reset his feet.
Partio moves away from the strike by Humbert.

Partio gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A jab lands there for Partio.
Partio comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Humbert rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Partio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Humbert throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Partio takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Partio tries to clinch but Humbert moves out of range.

Partio rushes Humbert and presses him up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Humbert's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Humbert.
Partio lands a nice uppercut.
Partio lands a left hand.
Partio misses with a punch on the inside.
Partio prevents Humbert from breaking the clinch.
Humbert wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Humbert trying to control the position but instead, Partio has worked for underhooks and has pushed Humbert into the cage.

Humbert pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Partio looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Humbert is looking to counter punch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Partio is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Polliisi Partio dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Partio throws a nice looking combination but Humbert bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Partio keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Humbert wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Humbert connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Partio misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Humbert.
Partio bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Humbert's head.
Humbert is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Humbert lands a big uppercut and Partio crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Partio looks OK. Humbert waves Partio back to his feet!

Partio is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Humbert thows a left - swing and a miss!
Partio leaves his chin hanging out and Humbert seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Partio crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Humbert Humbert spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
