The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doncaster uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Morninglord.
Doncaster dodges the punch combination from Morninglord.

Doncaster moves into the clinch.

Morninglord escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Doncaster moves in looking to clinch but Morninglord pushes him off.
Morninglord fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Doncaster on the side of the head.

Doncaster half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Doncaster slips a jab and a cross from Morninglord.
Morninglord scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Morninglord is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Doncaster pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morninglord is staying active underneath Doncaster, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Morninglord misses with an uppercut. Doncaster saw that one coming.
Doncaster appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Doncaster dives in for a single leg takedown but Morninglord sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
No joy there for Morninglord, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Doncaster drives through with a takedown into Morninglord's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Doncaster drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Doncaster jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
