Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pedro Gomez!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King shoots in for a takedown but Gomez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Eel King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

King closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gomez to the mat! Gomez manages to get full guard.

King fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gomez avoids it really well and circles away.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King tries to roll over but Gomez keeps him under control.
King is refusing to be controlled, as Gomez sits in half guard.
Gomez is stalling here. King is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gomez seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and King has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
