Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leon Louis (ranked 708 p4p, 110 weight class) and Kane Thompson (ranked 1345 p4p, 189 weight class). Louis comes to the cage accompanied by Siren. Kane Thompson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kane Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Louis misses with a takedown
enabling Thompson to counter with a crisp jab.
Louis dives in and grabs Thompson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thompson pushes down on Louis's head and hops out.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Thompson! But no joy.
Thompson leaves Louis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leon Louis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thompson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Louis misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Louis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Thompson ducks right into an uppercut from Louis.

A nice side step and Thompson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Louis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Thompson on his heels. He'll look to pass Thompson's guard now, I'm sure.

Thompson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Thompson cracks Louis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Louis looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Thompson can't hide his disappointment, as Louis celebrates the victory.

A very excited looking Leon Louis rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
