Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Chokdee Siriwat (ranked 24143 p4p, 576 weight class) and Ryu Takemura (ranked 5258 p4p, 469 weight class). Siriwat comes to the cage accompanied by Vs The World. Ryu Takemura has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chokdee Siriwat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ryu Takemura!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Takemura does it's job there.
Siriwat misses with a kick to the body.
A low kick from Siriwat is predictable there
and Takemura counters with a left to the body.
Takemura looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Siriwat looks to clinch
and Takemura counters with a left to the body.
Takemura throws a jab but it's blocked by Siriwat.
Siriwat throws an off balance right hand
and Takemura counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Siriwat tries to land a body kick
and Takemura counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Siriwat thinking.
Siriwat misses with an uppercut
and Takemura connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Siriwat throws a poor cross that misses
and Takemura counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Siriwat misses with a left hand
and Takemura counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Takemura connects with a jab.
A punch lands to the side of Siriwat 's head but he takes it in his stride.

and Takemura counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Siriwat on his ass! Siriwat wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!

Oh Siriwat is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Takemura lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Siriwat goes down! The ref sends Takemura to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Siriwat is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

It looks like Chokdee Siriwat has been cut.

Siriwat swings widly with a right hand
and Takemura counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Siriwat scores with a jab. Takemura acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Siriwat feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Takemuras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Siriwat seems to have got his legs back now.
Siriwat throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Takemura counters with a straight right hand.
Siriwat takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Siriwat is breathing heavily.
Siriwat shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Nice defenses there by Takemura.
Siriwat tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Takemura counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Takemura lands a right hook to the body.
Siriwat throws an off balance right hand

and before Siriwat can reset, Takemura rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Siriwat is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Takemura counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Takemura dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Siriwat throws a sloppy head kick and Takemura moves out of range easily.
Siriwat looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Takemura lands a right and a left and another right! Siriwat goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Ryu Takemura gave a big smile as he said 'I'd kill him if the referee let me..'.
