Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bea Mason (ranked 5048 p4p, 505 weight class) and Brandon Stark (ranked 2187 p4p, 287 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stark swivels and escapes.
No luck for Mason with that takedown attempt.
Stark misses with a head kick.
Mason tries to counter by clinching up but Stark breaks away and moves out of range.
Mason slips a straight right by Stark.
Some bone on bone action there as Mason checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Stark lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Mason looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stark avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stark does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Stark pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mason back to the cage. Stark follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Mason takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mason is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stark looks to score with a jab to the body but Mason is just out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
