Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sampson Shain (ranked 2276 p4p, 260 weight class) and Joe Bailey (ranked 2373 p4p, 267 weight class). Bailey has chosen Go Hard Or Go Home as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shain defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bailey.
Bailey getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Sampson Shain has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bailey is defended easily by Shain.
Shain misses with a wild combination.
Shain tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That kick from Shain tenderised Bailey's leg. Bailey is trying to keep his angry face on.

Sampson Shain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Bailey.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been informed that Bailey has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Shain just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bailey's brow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shain gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Shain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shain wants it to stay on the feet.
Bailey misses with a low kick.
Bailey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Shain circles away.

Bailey throws a head kick that misses.
Shain scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Shain takes a swing at Bailey's ribcage but misses.
Shain lands a leg kick that knocks Bailey off balance momentarily.
Shain tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bailey was well out of range. Poor timing from Shain.
Bailey walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Shain feints and then cracks Bailey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bailey down.
Shain keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Shain chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Shain stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shain, as that shot connected.
Bailey misses with a series of wild punches.
Bailey is looking to clinch but Shain is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sampson Shain dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Sampson Shain's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Some wild striking there from Bailey.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Shain.
Shain misses with a double jab.
Bailey throws a head kick but Shain moves out of range.
An inside leg kick lands from Shain.
Shain is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bailey can do to turn this around?
Shain wants to land a leg kick but Bailey is out of range.
Bailey looks to land a combination. Shain sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Shain tests Bailey's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bailey on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Shain. Shain obviously looking to wear him down.
Bailey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shain defends it nicely.

Shain cracks Bailey with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bailey looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Shain finish him?

Bailey takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bailey is looking to clinch but Shain is avoiding it.
Shain throws a quick counter head kick but Bailey was just out of range.
Shain fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bailey.
Shain cracks Bailey on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bailey falls backwards against the cage. Shain follows up with more strikes that drop Bailey to his knees. Shain keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bailey! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sampson Shain!
