Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iron Jussi (ranked 2109 p4p, 85 weight class) and Eddy Soprano (ranked 2798 p4p, 111 weight class). Soprano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 2pac - Until The End Of Time kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Eddy Soprano is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jussi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Eddy Soprano has been cut.

Soprano feints and as Jussi raises his hands in defense, Soprano changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soprano tries to free his leg and advance position but Jussi is retaining full guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Soprano throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jussi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jussi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've been told by Jussi's head coaches at The Coffee Shop that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Jussi cracks Soprano with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Soprano looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jussi finish him?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jussi lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Soprano - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Jussi!
