Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Fury (ranked 1546 p4p, 190 weight class) and Wanderson Siliva (ranked 3768 p4p, 345 weight class). Siliva has chosen as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Siliva bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Fury's head backwards.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Siliva.
A slow jab from Siliva misses its intended target.
Siliva lands the left hand.
Fury throws an overhand right that lands on Siliva's shoulder, as Siliva tries to avoid the shot.
Fury ducks under a wild hook from Siliva.
Fury throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Siliva.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fury dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fury definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Siliva tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fury defends well and Siliva ends up having to push Fury into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Siliva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fury wants to stand and escape but Siliva is having none of it.

Siliva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fury is just riding it out for now. Siliva eventually gives up the hold.

Fury lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Siliva darts in looking for a takedown but Fury gets double underhooks and turns Siliva into the cage.

No luck for Siliva with that takedown attempt.
It looked like Fury was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Siliva.
Nick Fury has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wanderson Siliva.

Siliva tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fury sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Siliva somewhat.
Siliva shoots in looking for a takedown. Fury tries to sprawl out of it but Siliva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fury manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fury sizes up Siliva with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Siliva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
