The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thirdleg takes one to the chin there.
Vegas stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Thirdleg misses with a takedown

and Vegas counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Vegas comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Thirdleg has been working on his balance at Island Sparring, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Vegas.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Vegas.
Vegas lands a body punch.
Thirdleg tries to score a body lock takedown but Vegas shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Thirdleg is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Vegas pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gumby Thirdleg. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thirdleg has Vegas pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Vegas manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Vegas throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Thirdleg is pressed against the cage. Vegas pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Thirdleg! Two more big strikes from Vegas and Thirdleg crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
