Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jambe De Bois (ranked 351 p4p, 52 weight class) and Royce Gracie (ranked 695 p4p, 96 weight class). De Bois's entrance music is Brad Fiedel - Terminator. A fine choice. Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Olha a Explosão. Royce Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Bois shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!

De Bois looking to sit in guard and control but Gracie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. De Bois swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

De Bois tries to kick Gracie off in order to stand up. Gracie Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
De Bois is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gracie asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Jambe De Bois will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

De Bois was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
De Bois is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracie.
Gracie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but De Bois manages to avoid it.
De Bois shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracie but Gracie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
