Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Stapleton!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stapleton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Delacruz is looking for a sweep. Stapleton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Stapleton wants to pass to mount but Delacruz is defending the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Stapleton might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Delacruz suckers Stapleton into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Delacruz is now in Stapleton's guard!
Stapleton has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Stapleton wants to stand up but Delacruz is controlling him.

Delacruz is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Stapleton.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Stapleton. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Jack Stapleton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well Stapleton has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
