Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfie Bray (ranked 4743 p4p, 386 weight class) and Bill Bright (ranked 7088 p4p, 479 weight class). Bray's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bet. Bright has chosen So What as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill Bright!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bright looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bray holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Bright is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bray sees it coming and defends easily.

Bright is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bray doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bright.
Bright is stalling here. Bray is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bright seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Bray has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bright gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bright has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bray is working away from the top position though.

Bray has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bright has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bray in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bray is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bill Bright has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bray is taking a breather. Bright says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Bright wants to control but Bray is keeping busy.
Bright is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bray's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bray's back!

Bright throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bray on the side of the head.

Bright fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bray to the ground. Bright is now in Bray's guard.
Bray is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bray is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Bright drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bray looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bray looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bray!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bray in particular looking to stall.

Bright has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Bray. Oh but Bright has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Bray goes limp - he's gone! Bright jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
