Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Duke Wesington!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wesington changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guerrero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wesington really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guerrero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Guerrero is looking to regain half guard here but Wesington keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wesington sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Guerrero is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Guerrero manages to get back to half guard.

Wesington is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Guerrero really is a fat lump.
Guerrero tries to kick Wesington off but Wesington keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Wesington is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Guerrero doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wesington.

Guerrero is working an open guard so Wesington takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Wesington rushes Guerrero and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Wesington has clasped his hands together around Guerrero's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Wesington is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wesington is looking to take a break and control but Guerrero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Guerrero manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Duke Wesington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wesington drives through with a takedown into guard.

Guerrero had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wesington defends it easily.

Guerrero takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Wesington shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Guerrero is trying to defend but Wesington finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Wesington bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Wesington goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Guerrero has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wesington but great work by Guerrero.

Guerrero throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wesington's waist but Wesington gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guerrero off to one side.

Wesington stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guerrero swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wesington is trying to trip Guerrero. He has hold of a leg but Guerrero is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wesington persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
