Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tiron Cruel Rookie (ranked 4557 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gumby Thirdleg (ranked 2462 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tiron Cruel Rookie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tiron Cruel Rookie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thirdleg defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cruel Rookie.
Thirdleg's coach down at Island Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Thirdleg's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Cruel Rookie gets a clinch.
Cruel Rookie is struggling to control the position.
Thirdleg is trying to drag Cruel Rookie to the mat but Cruel Rookie just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Thirdleg has hold of Cruel Rookie's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Cruel Rookie tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Thirdleg cranks the arm and Cruel Rookie screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Cruel Rookie, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
