Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Cleary (ranked 5820 p4p, 531 weight class) and Dan Skog (ranked 3048 p4p, 372 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skog takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Cleary goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Cleary throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Good leg kick by Skog there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A punch lands to the side of Skog 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Cleary drops his hands momentarily and Skog takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cleary scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Skog doesn't seem bothered though.

Skog ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cleary moves away.
Cleary half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Cleary pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Skog back to the cage. Cleary follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Cleary throws a lazy right hand but Skog sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Skog let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Skog tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cleary tries to counter with a takedown but Skog is quick to defend against it.

Skog feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

A very excited looking Patrick Cleary rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
