Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Chaize (ranked 2546 p4p, 0 weight class) and Philip Ndou (ranked 4865 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ndou swings widly with a right hand
and Chaize counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ndou uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chaize.
Chaize throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ndou looks to land a right hand but Chaize moved out of range.
Ndou ducks under a wild hook from Chaize.
Ndou misses with a hook
enabling Chaize to counter with a crisp jab.
Ndou misses with a double jab
and Ndou takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chaize fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chaize misses with an uppercut.
Ndou swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chaize scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ndou throws a hook to the side of Chaize's head but Chaize sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Chaize thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ndou misses with a right hand

and Chaize counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Chaize.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ndou goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Chaize pressing his opponent against the cage.
Chaize is struggling to control the position.
Ndou leaning against his opponent.

Ndou breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ndou misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Chaize rushes Ndou and presses him up against the cage.
Chaize throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Ndou stalling in the clinch but Chaize improves position.

Ndou breaks the clinch.
Chaize misses the jab.
Chaize misses with a body shot.
Ndou throws a right and a left that both miss.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ndou throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Chaize counters with a stiff right hand.
Chaize cracks Ndou with an open hand slap.

Ndou is rocked!
Ndou slips a jab from Chaize.
Ndou closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Ndou is still on wobbly legs! Can Chaize finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chaize showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ndou.
As Ndou tries to get set, Chaize tries to push him back and clinch up but Ndou manages to avoid the attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ndou. Chaize does a little dance to reset his feet.
It looked like Chaize was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ndou.
Chaize cracks Ndou with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ndou tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Chaize pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ndou is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacques Chaize!
